NEW for 2012 is the Shakespeare SPRING 100 on Sunday 1 April 2012 (no fooling!) - with the original and ever-popular Shakespeare 100 on 9 September 2012 - both are now open for online entries at www.shakespeare100.org.uk
Both events are challenging CycloSportive (100km in April, 100 miles and 100km in September) around South Warwickshire and the Cotswolds straddling Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. We've devised something for all riders - challenging climbs for the grimpeurs, beautiful countryside and a super feed stations for everyone!
If you've ridden our September Shakespeare 100 .... the 100km course for SPRING 2012 is an adaptation of the 100 mile course, mainly to the south of Stratford and using the award-winning Feed Station at Barton-on-the-Heath.
Loads of free parking - Early sign-on the previous evening - Toilets at the start - Fully signed route - GPS files to download
For 2012 we have a new EVENT JERSEY with all proceeds going to the charity - order yours with your entry (for despatch from 31 January)
Full details are on the website, together with secure online entry. Do make sure you get your entry in early, we have a strict limit on entry numbers* Early indications from entries received since the website opened are that the event will sell out very quickly. [We are only running the Shakespeare SPRING 100 in April, the sister event, MacRide will only take place in September]
AND an additional event for 2012 .... for something a bit different see www.macride-tour.org.uk - it's a two-day, fully supported ride from Windsor to Stratford-upon-Avon - various packages, includes B&B accommodation.
