I'm planning a weekend away next year, perhaps in May, June or early July, to ride the full route of the London Olympic road race circuit from Buckingham Palace to Surrey (where you can ride up the famous Box Hill climb) and back.
Trying to put together a support vehicle (or two) to help out with water bottles, food, cycling capes and punctures etc. with the assistance of a few friends.
No actual dates or costs known at the moment - but watch this space for further news!
I will be visting London and Surrey just after Xmas to check out the roads and route, especially the local cycling friendly cafe stops.
Is anyone interested in riding from central London to Surrey and back with the assistance of a following vehicle?
